Enrollment Procedures

During Sacramento City Unified School Districts Open Enrollment:

Open Enrollment Online: February 1, 2023 – February 15, 2023

Open Enrollment for the Basic Program is managed through the district’s Open Enrollment procedures.  You must live in the SCUSD area to apply through Open Enrollment.  The criteria for admission to PH is that students must be “at or above” grade level, have good attendance, and good behavior.  All Kindergarten and applicants are assessed by Phoebe Hearst teachers prior to the lottery. At the close of the Open Enrollment period, applicants who meet qualifications (residence and entrance criteria) will be placed in the available spaces through a lottery system.
